Chingam 1 – Farmers’ Day

Farmers’ Day was celebrated under the joint auspices of Kadannappalli-Panappuzha Grama Panchayat and the Krishi Bhavan. The programme was held at the Meeting Hall of the Chantappura Shopping Complex and was inaugurated by Grama Panchayat President T. V. Chandran. Vice President V. A. Komalavalli presided over the function.
Former Grama Panchayat President P. P. Damodaran honoured the best-performing farmers.
Development Affairs Standing Committee Chairman P. Narayanan, former Grama Panchayat Presidents K. Padmanabhan and E. P. Balakrishnan, Block Panchayat members M. P. Madhu, Preetha Lakshmanan, V. P. Subhash, Rajesh Mallappally, E. V. Unnikrishnan, P. V. Vimal Kumar, and K. K. Alikkunhi Haji, K. C. Sreedharan, T. K. Shankaran Namboothiri, and Paddy Field Committee representative K. Karunakaran also spoke on the occasion.
K. Deepa, Agricultural Officer, Kadannappalli-Panappuzha, delivered the welcome address, while P. V. Prashanthan, Agricultural Assistant, proposed the vote of thanks.
As part of the programme, Anagha Pradeep conducted an awareness class on the Weather-Based Crop Insurance Scheme.
