Kadannappally-Panapuzha Grama Panchayat is located in Taliparamba Block of Payyanur Taluk in Kannur District, Kerala. Spread across the villages of Kadannappally and Panapuzha, the Panchayat covers an area of 53.75 square kilometres.The Panchayat is bordered by Eramam-Kuttoor Grama Panchayat to the north, Chapparapadavu and Pariyaram Grama Panchayats to the east, Cheruthazham Grama Panchayat and Payyanur Municipality to the west, and Cheruthazham Grama Panchayat to the south.Kadannappally-Panapuzha has a diverse topography characterized by rocky uplands, hill slopes, paddy fields, streams, and riverine plains. The terrain slopes from east to west and can broadly be classified into four geographical zones: rocky uplands, hill slopes, alluvial paddy fields, and riverine plains.
